What are your prices?
I’ll give you a fixed price for your project, including up to two sets of amends. I calculate each quote using my day rate of £400.
Because every project is different, I only have a rough guide on my services pages.
What do I get for my investment?
Copywriters don’t just write.
In my case, you also get:

Plus 16 years’ copywriting experience and all that comes with it, such as on-page SEO knowledge.
Can I visit your office for a meeting?
My Edinburgh address is a virtual office. I’m based near Scotland’s capital, so we can arrange meetings in Edinburgh or East Lothian.
I try to work remotely wherever possible to keep costs and my carbon footprint down. So I’m happy to use Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams for calls.
Who have you worked for in the past?
Before starting The Hidden Voices, I wrote for organisations including eBay, LinkedIn, GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf, Breakfast in a Bag homeless charity, and several leading banks and investment companies.
Do you write for other industry sectors?
Yes. As well as sustainability, vegan brands and charities/non-profits, I write about other industries and topics when I feel I can add value. Green finance, for example, would fall into this category.
Do you write in any other languages or offer translation?
No. (that was a short answer!)
What information do I need to give you?
We’ll typically have a quick chat with before sending a briefing form. There will also be a standard contract to agree to before we begin.
Do I need to use your tone of voice service before you write my copy?
No. I can get straight to the copywriting if you’ve already got a good handle on your tone of voice.
Do you have any examples of your work?
I started at the end of May 2022 and am still building up a portfolio for The Hidden Voices. I don’t like passing off work I did in previous roles as mine to make me look better. That’s not cool in my book.
